Answers to the Funds Flow Process Questions

Once my account has been established, how do I pay for any shares I buy?
To place a buy order through Sanford we require you to have all the funds including brokerage and stamp duty deposited in your Share Trading account, otherwise we can not place a trade for you. As such, Sanford requires upfront funds in order to place buy orders.

How do I put funds into my account?
You can put funds into your account through one of four ways:

1. BPAY The easiest and quickest way of transferring money.
To complete the transfer you will need to have Sanford's BPay biller code and a Sanford issued BPay reference number handy. Sanford's BPay biller code is 16303. Your BPay account reference number will be issued to you in your welcome pack upon signing up with Sanford. Alternatively it can be found under the "BPay tab" on the Account Services page of the website. Please view the Account page after logging on for more information on BPay.

2. BY MAIL: You can send a cheque, marked "Not Negotiable", and made payable to "Sanford Securities Limited - Trust Account" to:

    The Accounts Manager
    Sanford Securities Limited
    PO Box 7428
    Cloisters Square
    Perth WA 6850
    Australia.

3. BY DIRECT DEPOSIT: You can instruct your bank to directly credit our trust account or you can bank the funds at any National Australia Bank branch. The following details need to be provided :

    BSB No: 086-006
    Account No: 68 754 9031
Reference No: your 5 digit client account number
Note: It is very important to reference your deposit with your 5 digit client account number which will be provided to you in the Welcome Pack. This allows the Accounts department to identify your deposit and receipt it to your trading account. Failure to reference your deposit correctly will result in a delay in funds being available.

4. BY TELEGRAPHIC TRANSFER: Contact us by phone on 1300 658 860 or email us on haoyah@sanford.com.au to discuss this method of depositing funds into your Account.
