Braised Prawns
Ingredients:
1 lb raw king prawns Sauce... 8 fl oz chicken stock 1 tbsp rice wine or dry sherry 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp dark soy sauce 2 tsps rice vinegar 2 tbsps finely chopped spring onions 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger 2 tsps finely chopped garlic 1 tsp cornflour blended with 2 tsps water 2 tsps sesame oil 1 tsp light soy sauce
Preparation:
Combine the sauce ingredients in a wok and bring to a simmer. Add the prawns and braise slowly over a low heat for 5 minutes. Serve at once. from Sue's Recipe Server
