Yu Yuan Garden

Yuyuan Garden(Garden of Leisurely Repose), located on Yuyuan Road of Nanshi District, was built in 1559(the 21st year in the period of Wan Li of Ming Dynasty). Inside the garden there are exquisite rockeries, dragon walls and differently shaped pavilions and towers and other tourist attractions like Cuixiu Tang(the Hall of Gathering Graces) and Dianchun Tang(the Spring Hall). The garden is acknowledged as "an architectural miracle in the region south of Yangtse River", "an elite of garden in southeast China".
