The Three Towers

Under the foot of the Chongshen mountain , 1 Km away from Dali ancient city, the Three Towers Located at the Chongshen Temple (which had been destroyed except the towers).The main tower, called Qianxunta, was built up in Tang Dynasty formed as an octagon brick tower, 69.13 meters high ,the other two smaller towers , were built up in Song Dynasty. The Three Towers were arranged as triangle construction being as the symbol of Bai minority. 618 pieces of unearthed relics were found in 1978, they are so worthy to study the history , religion and arts of Nanzhao state and Dali.
