Butterfly Spring

By the distance of 24 Km from Dali ancient city, there is a pond of area of 40 square meters , a thin spring comes out from the sands and stones of pond bottom, around it with the marble stone fences ,in the middle ,over the pond, there are three Chinese characters " Butterfly Spring" written on a stone plate. A old tree closing to the pond , called "Butterfly Tree" horizontally cross over the pond , its shadow appears in the water. On the certain day of Chinese traditional calendar every year In the woods around the pond thousands of butterflies are flying and some of them are connecting each other by the tail and head. It shows a very magic sense at that day.
