Bitahai Lake

A place of 25 Km form the Zhongdian county , there is a lake encircled in green trees, the snow mountains, 3000 meters long, 700 meters wide ,40 meters deep, area of 60 ha (a ha=10000 square meters),the sea level is 3504 meters high. The water with blue color is collected from the streams flowing down from the snow mountains. Every year when the Indian azalea blooms ,the petals fall down to the water, they are eaten by the fishes ,so the fishes are drunk turning over their bellies and floating on the water . It is so attractive to the tourists.
